About Paper Prints:
There are two choices of paper for prints. Hahnemüle Photo Rag 308gsm – a classic bright art stock paper used by many galleries. Hahnemüle also now offer a beautiful Hemp 290gsm paper, saving on water-intense cotton production, while helping to revive the desperately needed global Hemp industry. I prefer to use Hemp’s proper name, which is Cannabis. This resource-saving plant has robust and long-lasting fibres that have been part of paper production since at least 150BC (with fabric production stretching back to at least 8000BC!). If a sumptuous eco-friendly print on Weed appeals, select this option.
All prints are on matt paper and require a glass frame for protection and to bring out the depth of colour.
About Canvas Prints:
Although initially more costly than a paper print, a canvas print, stretched over 4cm deep stretcher bars, is the next best thing to having the original. With their depth, and subtle canvas texture, these prints can go directly onto a wall as they are, saving framing costs and decisions. They can also be mounted on a tray-style frame for maximum effect.
Packaging and delivery:
HOW ARE PRINTS SENT TO ME?
- Items are sent via Royal Mail Tracked24 for UK orders and DPD for international deliveries. (UPD, FEDEX and DHL may be used to service some international deliveries.)
HOW ARE PRINTS PACKAGED?
- Each print is wrapped in acid-free tissue paper. The prints are then rolled around a smaller tube to protect them from getting creased while rolling. The prints are then wrapped in heavyweight paper, longer than the prints, to protect the edges whilst inside the postal tube. This roll is taped to stop the prints from unwinding and falling out of the tube, which also makes it easier to remove from the tube. Stretched Canvas prints are wrapped in a cellophane wrap to protect the print. This is then wrapped in bubble wrap to protect the frame. This package is then boxed if not alone or packaged within packing card to protect the order in transit. Larger canvas prints are further protected with hardboard (that extends beyond the size of the canvas print) sandwiching the canvas and protecting both the front, back and sides of the frame.
HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE FOR ITEMS TO BE DELIVERED AFTER PLACING MY ORDER?
- Prints are run to order and will take up to seven working days before being posted. Canvas prints require ten working days before being sent out. UK orders are sent next day delivery. International orders are subject to longer transit times depending on destination.
DO YOU ACCEPT RETURNS?
- Only for damaged items.
WHAT SHOULD I DO IF ITEMS HAVE BEEN DAMAGED IN TRANSIT?
- In the event that a print is damaged in any way upon receipt, please contact me as soon as possible. I cannot be held responsible for any damage to, discrepancies in or shortages of delivered materials unless notified within 48 hours of receipt. Any claims for damages must be supported by photographic evidence and I may request the return of the damaged article. Claims of this nature will be limited to the cost of the order as charged. No actions will be taken by myself without photographic proof or the receipt of the damaged item.
