After many years working as a modelmaker and as a CGI artist, these paintings were my first foray back into the delicious medium of oil paint. Thanks to my friend Dave Bass for nudging me back towards painting!
Around the time of creating the painting above, I was a circus ariel artist, and had become fascinated in the forms that can be created using the human body. Another theme that was strong in my life was the fragility of life and the closness of our own deaths. This painting, for me, somehow spans both of these themes.
